About us

Asamai Cultural Trust is a not for profit registered Charity in the United Kingdom. The Trust is formed and run by Hindus from Afghanistan who presently live in the United Kingdom. The Trust is formed with the objective of providing assistance to all the Hindus from Afghanistan so they can adjust to their new lives in United Kingdom and also with a optimism that the coming generations will continue to stay attached to their roots and forefathers who lived and prospered in Afghanistan as a well-respected community.

Set up as Charity in February 2008, our objectives are to help our community by providing assistance to our elderly members and to promote cultural & educational activities. We operate from our community centre on Johnson Street – Southall, where we hold weekly community meetings and also run weekend Hindi language classes for our youngsters within the community.

As a relatively new Charity we are still in early stages of development and with the help of our community members hope to soon become successful in our objectives.

We welcome any inquiries, comments and suggestions you may have.
